Daikin

Established in Japan in 1924, Daikin is one of the world’s largest heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system manufacturers with over USD 15 billion in annual revenues. Daikin was the first company to develop the Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) technology: an energy-efficient system that circulates the minimum amount of refrigerant needed at any given time and enables individual climate control of air conditioning zones. With over 80 production bases worldwide, more than 140 countries sell a wide variety of Daikin products, such as VRV systems, split/multi split units, air to water heat pump systems, heating systems, air purifiers, air cooled chillers and marine HVAC. Via a managed investment vehicle, BPE Partners collaborated with Daikin to create Daikin Egypt which will be the exclusive distributor of Daikin’s products in Egypt, with plans to start manufacturing HVAC systems locally.
